Go green this weekend with the Monaco Green Days

This weekend, the Direction of Tourism and Conventions is organizing the fourth edition of the Monaco Green Days. A fun and original way to discover the Principality through different means of locomotion leading to an eco-responsible exploration of the Rock.

From Saturday, August 3rd, with the assistance of Monaco Bike Tours, participants ages 13 and up can meet at Monaco Station for an electric bike tour of the city, which is available through registration. Bicycles will crisscross the city until noon before a visit of the bio-diversity of the Jardins Saint-Martin at 4 pm. The Green Days are a great way to enjoy the site’s exceptional views and discover the rich fauna and flora of a place designed as a showcase for urban development in the Principality.

A Sunday for spreading awareness

On the morning of August 4th, interested visitors will be able to observe the Rock from a new angle via the “Monaco Autrement” walking tour. The walkers will follow a dedicated route with stages stopping to learn about certain local initiatives for the environment, energy transition, and biodiversity. At 2:30 pm, at the Jardin Saint Martin, Eve Vernice will introduce children to nature through an organized awareness tour in partnership with her association Les Jardins d’Eve. A tasting of edible flowers and a history of seeds are on the program for this two-day green happening in Monaco!
