How to find a job in Monaco quickly and easily?

Recruitment sites, annual recruitment days, and other tips will help you find the job of your dreams in Monaco.
Thousands of people travel to the Principality every day to work, attracted by competitive salaries… And what if you could be one of them soon? Whether in the civil service, the private sector or as a young person, there are several ways to find the best career opportunities in Monaco.
Register with the Service de l’Emploi
The Service de l’Emploi is Monaco’s Employment office. It facilitates matches between employers and candidates. Its main tasks are to register job vacancies submitted by employers in different business sectors and to place jobseekers, with personalised assistance and follow-up as required.
To register, you must either be a Monegasque citizen, or the child or spouse of a Monegasque citizen, or live in the Principality or neighbouring municipalities (Cap d’Ail, La Turbie, Beausoleil, Roquebrune-Cap-Martin) and have already worked in Monaco.
Young people aged 16 to 26 should contact the Cellule Emploi-Jeunes, the Employment Service’s Youth Unit, to look for their first job, a seasonal job, an internship or an apprenticeship contract.
Take a look at LinkedIn
Beyond its primary function of growing your professional network, LinkedIn is a real goldmine for finding a job. The website has a dedicated section that lists a large number of job offers and is regularly updated.
Simply enter keywords in the search bar or use the filters available at the top of the search results page to view job offers in Monaco.
Another option is to use social media to contact Monegasque recruiters directly. They often appreciate a more direct approach.
Go to the 2025 ‘Monaco pour l’Emploi’ forum
The Monaco Employment Forum is a unique way for job applicants to meet several Monegasque companies on the same day and in the same place. The event, organised through the Prince’s Government, provides an opportunity to discuss the opportunities available directly with employers. And you could even walk out with a signed contract if all goes well.
As well as stands dedicated to yachting professions, managers from major luxury brands such as Prada, Louis Vuitton, Chanel and APM Monaco usually attend. The Société des Bains de Mer features over 130 different professions at the event.
Read the announcements in the Journal de Monaco
The Journal de Monaco lists all recruitment notices from the Prince’s Government, free of charge, every Friday of the year.
The advantage of this website is that the vacancies are described in great detail. You can read about the tasks involved, the experience, professional skills and people skills required, the recruitment criteria, and so on. All of which makes it easier for jobseekers to find what they’re looking for.
Attend recruitment days
If you’re looking for new career opportunities, recruitment days are another great option. The Principality’s biggest institutions (Monaco Oceanographic Museum, Fairmont Monte-Carlo, Monte-Carlo SBM…) recruit this way ahead of the summer season.
These annual events are open to everyone, and are an opportunity to meet the teams and stand out from the other applicants. Fixed-term or open-ended contracts, work placements, apprenticeships… Dozens, if not hundreds, of offers are available to visitors. Time to dust off your CV!
