On Sunday evening, the Monegasque Formula 1 driver shared news that delighted his fans. Charles Leclerc and his partner Alexandra Saint Mleux have announced their engagement.
Charles Leclerc is officially off the market! In a relationship since 2023 with Alexandra Saint Mleux, the Monegasque — who celebrated his 28th birthday on 16 October — revealed his marriage proposal to millions of followers on social media. The announcement quickly gained over five million likes just moments after the photos were posted.

To propose, Charles Leclerc enlisted the help of Léo, his long-haired dachshund and true paddock star. Around the dog’s neck was a small black bow tie with a bone-shaped charm engraved with the words “Dad wants to marry you”. Alexandra Saint Mleux replied with “Mom said yes.” The touching moment was captured by Antoine Truchet, the driver’s longtime friend and official photographer.
Although less well-known than her future husband, the 23-year-old Italian-born art and fashion enthusiast has three million followers on Instagram. She accompanies the Ferrari driver – who is currently fifth in the Formula 1 World Championship standings — to every Grand Prix.
While the date of their wedding has not yet been revealed, it will be the second of late in the family, following his elder brother Lorenzo Tolotta-Leclerc’s marriage to Charlotte Di Pietro, which was celebrated in September on the other side of the Alps.
