Olivier Giroud in Monaco for the MCH

As the Monaco Humanitarian Collective’s (MCH) Heart Ambassador, world football champion, Olivier Giroud was visiting Monaco’s Cardio-Thoracic Center on Monday (July 1st).

After a presentation of the latest news from the MCH (412 children operated since 2008) and his future prospects, Olivier Giroud was able to meet with host families and volunteers from the Monegasque Red Cross and African Meetings. He also met the caregivers of the Cardio-Thoracic Center of Monaco (CCM) and the Princess Grace Hospital (CHPG), as well as a representative of the Charles III College of the Principality. And with Isabelle Rosabrunetto, Director General of the Department of External Relations and Cooperation of the Prince’s Government.

Olivier Giroud spent a special moment with little Jinno, a young Malagasy 8 years old, recently operated on with a heart malformation, who will return home on July 2nd, after spending 5 weeks in the Principality.

As Ambassador of the MCH, Olivier Giroud also sponsors the two teams of the CCM who will participate in the next Rally Gazelles in 2020, in the colours of the Collective.

Finally, on Friday night in Juan-les-Pins, former footballer Eric Roy, organizer of the World Volleyball Championship, will present to Olivier Giroud, who is sponsoring this year’s event, a check for € 10,000 for Monaco Collectif Humanitaire.

*: As part of the operation “At the heart of the College”, in 2018, the 1,200 students of the College, teachers and administrative staff had mobilized to finance the surgery of a small Malagasy, Iorentsoa, raising € 20,000, double the amount required.
