Rainier III Academy – Music & Theater: 54 award-winning students

On Thursday, June 27, 2019, the award ceremony of the Rainier III Academy took place. It was held in the Court of Honor of the Town Hall in the presence of Melanie-Antoinette de Massy, ​​Mayor and members of the Communal Council. Along with representatives of official bodies of the Principality.

In his speech, Karyn Ardisson Salopek, Deputy Mayor, in charge of Culture and Delegate at the Rainier III Academy, reminded the importance of access to culture for all: “The dissemination of culture in the Principality is largely favoured (…) The Town Council makes every effort to ensure that teaching conditions are optimal and accompanied by very good management.” Before emphasizing “the remarkable work done by our 57 teachers and all the staff, under the leadership of Christian Tourniaire, Director.”

The administrative and pedagogical teams, supported by the communal services, had only one objective: the training, the support and the blossoming of all the students registered in our establishment. And there were many again this year: 977 registrations, of which 906 are in the curriculum.

In total, 54 students were honoured for the quality of their work and their excellent results. They have also been involved throughout the year in the various missions set by the Academy.

The awards ceremony, which was attended by families of young students and teachers, was punctuated by several musical interludes. It followed the traditional gala concert held on June 19 at the Rainier III Auditorium in the presence of the Princess of Hanover.

The evening closed with the prize giving period for the 2018-2019 school year – an excellent year for Principality students from all disciplines.
