The first event will be on September 28. 15 Riviera authors will gather for a day of dedications that will mark the return of literary.
It’s the power of words. When they realized – in the jungle of the Monegasque calendar – that their first event of the season coincided with the Monaco Yacht Show, members of the Literary Encounters Fabian Boisson subtitled it with this sentence: “surf with the words without throwing anchor”.
A wink at the mega-yachts gathering in the port Hercule to announce, on September 28, a mini-book fair bringing together about 15 local authors, all settled on the Riviera, at the bar of the A’Trego on the port of Cap-d’Ail.
The opportunity to revive in the bath, “and especially to mark the start of the literary,” says Yvette Gazza-Cellario, who chairs the literary meetings.
NINTH BOOK FAIR IN APRIL
Around her, the team is finalizing an event conference for January. Before reiterating in March the writing contest with high school students of the Second classes of the Principality.
These last ones will start at the beginning of the season on several themes, and a list of achievements will reward the most solid texts.
VIPS WAITING FOR CONFIRMATION
A record will be unveiled at the 9th book fair of the association. It will be held on April 18 and 19, 2020. Like the previous edition, in the room Quai Antoine-1er – A place that will accommodate more than 120 authors. Including several VIPs waiting for confirmation.
“We already have several proposals,” confirms Yvette Gazza-Cellario, “visibly the authors invited previous years were delighted with the reception and speak of our demonstration on good terms”.
A proof of the perseverance of the team that had organized its first edition with a handful of writers in a small room and who has made it now, an appointment that counts in the Principality.
