The generous donation was made as part of the partnership between the two entities and Kappa.

On Tuesday 9 July, AS Monaco’s CEO, Thiago Scuro, presented a cheque to the Deputy Director General of the Oceanographic Institute, Cyril Gomez.

Five euros were donated to the Oceanographic Institute for each of the OCEANO shirts, in the colours of the Mediterranean coast, that have been sold. A total of €20,245 was raised in support of the Institute’s activities.

“We were proud to wear this symbolic shirt and to have had the opportunity to carry out this unique project with the Museum’s staff. We hope it will have raised awareness of the need to protect the Ocean. We will certainly continue to monitor and support the Institute’s efforts on that front,” said Thiago Scuro.
