Princess Caroline returned to the Sporting Monte-Carlo for one of the most eagerly awaited evenings of the year: the 2025 Sunset Rose Ball. Alongside Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene, she took part in this charity evening surrounded by many international celebrities, continuing the tradition of the symbolic ball created by her mother, Princess Grace.

In the footsteps of the Grimaldis in the Ardennes

Discovering the โ€œCactusโ€ exhibition at Villa Sauber

The summer was marked by Princess Carolineโ€™s visit to Villa Sauber to explore the exhibition โ€œCactusโ€. Her presence confirmed her active role in promoting the exhibitions of the Nouveau Musรฉe National de Monaco (NMNM), of which she is president. In collaboration with the Yves Saint Laurent Museum in Marrakech, the exhibition brings together more than 200 works, explored through both botanical and artistic perspectives.

Graduation ceremony at the IFSI and IFAS

In September, Princess Caroline presided over the graduation and insignia ceremony of the Institute of Nursing Training (IFSI) and the Institute of Nursing Assistants (IFAS). Thirty-five new healthcare professionals received their diplomas from Princess Caroline. It was a solemn moment that also highlighted her support for healthcare professions and the training of young carers.

Celebrating the laureates of the Prince Pierre Foundation

Accompanied by Prince Albert II, Princess Caroline presented the prizes to the three laureates of the Prince Pierre of Monaco Foundation. The annual ceremony rewards excellence in the literary and artistic fields, continuing the work of Prince Pierre of Monaco.

Opening of La Bookinerie

In November, Prince Albert II and Princess Caroline jointly inaugurated La Bookinerie, a new space dedicated to books and reading on Promenade Honorรฉ II. The initiative forms part of the Principalityโ€™s cultural policy aimed at promoting literature and access to culture.

A particularly intense cultural month

December was especially busy for Princess Caroline. Alongside Prince Albert II and her daughter Charlotte Casiraghi, she inaugurated Monacoโ€™s new media library. Renamed the Caroline Media Library, the former Louis Notari Library is now housed within the Ilot Pasteur development, in a fully redesigned 2,500 mยฒ space capable of welcoming up to 300 people.

A few days later, she announced a historic appointment at the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra (OPMC). Nathalie Stutzmann, 60, will take up her post on 1 September 2026 as the institutionโ€™s 19th artistic and musical director. She becomes the first woman to hold this position since the orchestraโ€™s creation in 1856. โ€œIt is a great responsibility to choose the person who will not only maintain the level of excellence achieved, but also bring a new vision,โ€ she said.

Through these ten key moments, Princess Caroline once again demonstrated her unwavering commitment to culture, education and Monacoโ€™s institutions. From contemporary art and classical music to literature and training, her 2025 agenda reflects the diversity of her interests and her essential role in enhancing Monacoโ€™s cultural influence.
