The gala evening at the Grimaldi Forum marked the high point of Monaco’s National Day celebrations with a show dedicated to Joséphine Baker, the French-American icon.
The 2025 Monaco National Day festivities came to a close in style on Thursday evening with an exceptional performance at the Grimaldi Forum. Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene joined Princess Caroline of Hanover and her children to attend the closing show.

A spectacular show
The artistic production paid tribute to Joséphine Baker, an iconic figure who left her mark on the cultural history of the Côte d’Azur. The show ‘Bonsoir Monte-Carlo’ transported the audience into the legendary artist’s world, whose ties with the Principality continue to resonate in the collective memory.
The gala performance was the grand finale of a programme of celebrations that brought the Principality to life for several days. The presence of the Princely Family in full highlighted the significance of the event in Monaco’s official calendar, as a special moment where tradition meets the creative arts.
