As it is every year, the Rose Ball is one of the main events of the Monegasque social calendar. This 65th edition, held on March 30th, was marked by the Karl Lagerfeld dress worn by Princess Caroline in tribute to the late designer. The latter also sported an incredible array of jewels that had been offered by Prince Rainier III to his wife Grace. A tasteful way to honor the memory of the one who initiated this legendary ball.

Special guests – from Stéphane Bern to Carole Bouquet – were welcomed by a family that is more united than ever for this 65th annual Rose Ball. As is customary, the Monegasque noble family was in evening dress in the of Étoiles du Sporting Monte Carlo hall. As a reminder, the Rose Ball was created in 1965 for the benefit of the Princess Grace Foundation. The latter works directly for the benefit of children in difficulty but also for cultural projects for students.

As a nod to her mother, Princess Caroline made a strong impression by wearing a very symbolic jewel. It was a pearl necklace that had belonged to Grace and had been offered to her by her husband during their marriage in 1956. Caroline’s daughter, Charlotte, was also present alongside film producer Dimitri Rassam, her companion. His mother is none other than the actress Carole Bouquet, who was radiant in a striking black dress. Smiling wide, she was also accompanied by her other daughter-in-law, Charlotte Tarbouriech. Never far from the actress, Prince Albert II played to the gaggle of photographers for the sake of the evening.

In short, a lovely soirée!
