Jeff Goldblum is known for his acting skills with performances in various cult films from David Cronenberg’s The Fly to Steven Spielberg’s Jurassic Park, to Roland Emmerich’s Independence Day. However, it is not to give a lecture on his professional path as an actor that will bring him to Monaco and onto the stage of the Salle Garnier of the Opéra de Monte-Carlo on July 2nd. Rather he comes to show his talents as a virtuoso jazz pianist as part of the Sporting Summer Festival.

Jeff Goldblum has been involved in this exercise for quite a while but it was for a long time as an amateur performing on the Rockwell Table and Stage in Los Angeles before playing with Gregory Porter at the Graham Norton Show and meeting future members of his band, The Mildred Snitzer Orchestra in 2018, including saxophonist James King and organist Joe Bagg. A group with whom he recorded The Capitol Studios Sessions featuring internationally acclaimed jazz classics such as Good Nights or Nostalgia in Times Square. Jeff Goldblum even offered himself the luxury of singing with Sarah Silverman on Me and My Shadow. Mr. Goldblum is sure to have Monaco swinging!
