In order to avoid waste and make the children happy, Monaco City Hall and the Monaco Sustainable Development Association are organizing, for the second year, a large toy collect at Espace Léo Ferré. The ideal opportunity to recycle and above all, a good action as Christmas approaches.

In a little over a month, children will discover their gifts at the foot of the tree. And so that all of them can experience this joy, Monaco City Hall and the Monaco Sustainable Development Association (MC2D) are organizing a collect of toys at Espace Léo Ferré in December. This operation is organized for the benefit of the Monegasque Red Cross and the Childhood Mission for the second year. The idea here is not only to make the youngest ones happy, but also to avoid the waste that parents too often experience when children get tired of toys or have grown too big to enjoy them. It is also a way to promote a circular economy while allowing associations to take advantage of this type of action.

Two dates to remember

Two afternoons will be devoted to the collect at the Léo Ferré space: Wednesday 4th and Thursday, December 5th, from 1 pm to 6 pm, donors will be able to play Santa Claus by bringing toys that are in good condition, unbroken, and cleaned. Only soft toys are not allowed. The opportunity to sort through board games, figurines or other dolls, and to give them a second life in new small hands. This is another effective way to raise awareness of sustainable development that will undoubtedly give a smile to many children.
