Between major formal events and intimate visits, Princess Charlene marked the year with her presence and constant commitment to causes close to her heart.
Alone or alongside her husband, Prince Albert II, she has participated in major events in the Principality. From the 25th anniversary of the Grimaldi Forum to Women’s Rights Day, the presentation of the Socrates Prize in Paris and support for young rugby players in Georgia, the former Olympic champion has remained active throughout. Here’s a look back at the moments that marked her year in 2025.
January
16 January โ Celebrating 25 years of the Grimaldi Forum

Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene posed for photos to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Grimaldi Forum. Opened in July 2000, this iconic venue in the Principality has been hosting major artistic, sporting and professional events for a quarter of a century, contributing to Monaco’s international reputation.

8 March โ Women’s Rights Day


Princess Charlene actively participated in a first aid awareness workshop organised by the Monegasque Red Cross in collaboration with the associations Entreparents and Femmes Leaders Mondiales Monaco.
May
23 to 25 May โ At the heart of the Monaco Grand Prix

The Princely Couple participated in the 2025 Monaco Grand Prix festivities. Princess Charlene attended ceremonial events and visited the paddocks during this unmissable weekend on the Monรฉgasque calendar.

The 82nd Monaco Grand Prix concluded with a prestigious gala evening in the Salle des รtoiles at the Sporting Monte-Carlo, attended as always by the Prince and Princess.
June
7 and 8 June โ Weekend with Brigitte Macron


As part of the French President’s state visit, Charlene of Monaco welcomed the First Lady for a meeting marked by their shared commitment to young people. Between demonstrations at Water Safety Days and a private stroll through the Palace gardens, the two women forged bonds around their respective causes.

This meeting between the two women illustrated their friendly relationship and the special ties that unite Monaco and France. It was a moment of camaraderie in a setting that was both official and personal.
September
22 September โ 2025 Ballon d’Or ceremony

Princess Charlene travelled to Paris to present the Socrates Award to the Xana Foundation at the 2025 Ballon d’Or ceremony. This award recognises humanitarian and social initiatives in the world of football. In her speech, she recalled that in Monaco, โsport is held in high regard and the Principality has been named World Capital of Sport 2025.โ
October
29 October โ In Georgia to support young rugby players

Princess Charlene travelled alone to Georgia to support young Monรฉgasque rugby players competing in an international tournament. Before attending the matches, she visited a first aid training workshop organised by the Georgian Red Cross in collaboration with the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation.
November
15 November โ No Finish Line launch


As patron of the event, Princess Charlene kicked off the 26th edition of No Finish Line at Port Hercule. This charity race in aid of Children & Future attracts thousands of participants every year. She welcomed all those taking part in this latest edition.
19 November โ Monaco National Day


As every year, a few hours after the National Day celebrations, Princess Charlene, Prince Albert II and their children, Crown Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella, posed for photos to immortalise this exceptional day.
December
12 December โ The Monaco Star Prize

Princess Charlene received the Monaco Star Award in recognition of her work on behalf of children. This distinction honours her efforts through her foundation, which works to prevent drowning and introduce young people to sport. This is the first time the award has been presented by the International Christmas Ball Action Committee, which honours individuals who work to improve the well-being of young people around the world.
18 December โ Visit to Monaco’s SPA

Princess Charlene visited the Monaco SPA, of which she is president, to meet with animal care workers and members of the board of directors. Over Christmas tea, she shared a special moment of conviviality and commitment with them.
